The Emerald Empire Reading Council (EERC) is one of 10 local councils of the Oregon Reading Association (ORA) and the International Reading Association (IRA). It is the third oldest council in the state.
We currently have over 150 members ranging from kindergarten teachers through university professors as well as teaching specialistists, retired teachers, and adminsitrators. We also are fortunate to have community members who are committed to our goal of promoting literacy.
